We therefore offer our customers comprehensive support in the design of cast components. The creation of a “casting-compatible” design is not left to the customer alone, but is developed in close cooperation with the foundry. Here, the customer's design engineer contributes his knowledge of the design and we contribute our know-how of the production process. In addition to checking the moldability, the question of castability plays a decisive role. Casting simulation is an important tool in this environment.

The cooperation between foundry and design engineer results in significant advantages from both an economic and quality point of view. It goes without saying that the function of the component is never disregarded in this development work, and an important prerequisite for successful cooperation is the timely involvement of the foundry in the development process.
