Without precise mutual agreements between foundry and machining, components that have to meet high requirements cannot be optimally manufactured. If casting and machining are ordered from different suppliers, close coordination between these two suppliers must be ensured in order to achieve an ideal process and optimum product quality.
The coordination effort for the casting consumer is considerably reduced if the production of the raw castings and the mechanical processing are in one hand and the customer can purchase the finished cast components directly.
